My sincere gratitude and highest appreciation go to Somaliland Chamber of Commerce for this new edition of Somaliland Trade Directory 2020. I consider this as an important document that will help convey

the broad development of the Private Sector to all levels of society and other stakeholders. 

There are many benefits associated with this Business directory produced by the SLCCIA, as it will definitely serve as an efficient tool for supporting in the best way possible to the interested parties to be aware of the improvements being made by the Businesses in the country. 

As Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism, we recognize that our role is principally to assist the private sector in creating economic transformation. To this aim, particular attention has been paid to private sector development initiatives that take into account the growth of MSMEs, industrial development, regulatory reforms within the Business environment of Somaliland, intellectual property rights and the issue of creation of an empowering trade regulation.

Additionally, we recognize that the provision of public goods is a key determinant of quality of life for individuals and communities and, hence, the attractiveness of the country to private investment.It is in government’s interest to promote growth that advantages the poor. This not

only improves social stability, increases the capacity of the poor to contribute and thereby further boosts economic growth.

In conclusion, I commend efforts of SLCCIA, other organizations and Businesses who consistently supported this publication

It is my honor to present here the eighth edition of Somaliland Trade Directory. This new edition introduces wide range detailed information of all business sectors. At same time, you will find more new businesses which didn’t appear in the previous editions. It also updated the previous listed companies. 

However, this new business directory contains important information on trade and investment opportunities that can serve the business community, investors, foreign visitors to Somaliland and the public in general. The Somaliland Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture stands at all times ready to assist all its business members in equitable services.

I thank here all of those who have taken part of preparing this business directory. And I also hope this directory will be a useful reference for  all.

Somaliland Chamber of Commerce is pleased to issue the Biannual Trade Directory 2020-2021 edition. As earlier, this new directory includes business profiles, trade regulations and other important information relate to trade and investment.

The main purpose of this directory is to provide relevant information to its business community, potential investors, international community and visitors of Somaliland. Therefore, I am confident this edition will meet all the needs of its users and fulfill our chamber’s promotion of trade and

investment. This edition contains advertisements of business activities to showcase their products and services as well as their contact emails and telephone numbers.

As a Secretary General, I am very grateful to honor those who have spent their time and make it this directory possible to publish and I hope every entity will benefit from it.
